OVERVIEW

David Chung has contributed articles and reviews in leading journals, including Ad Parnassum, Early Music, Early Keyboard Journal, Journal of Eighteenth-Century Music, Journal of Seventeenth-Century Music, Music & Letters, Music & Practice, Notes, Revue belge de musicologie and Revue de musicologie. His critical editions of 17th-century French music are available from Lyrebird Music (lyrebirdmusic.com), the Web Library of Seventeenth-Century Music (www.sscm-wlscm.org) and UT Orpheus. Educated at the University of Cambridge and London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Chung is Professor of Music at Hong Kong Baptist University. Chung maintains an international presence as a performer and has appeared in the Festival d’Ile-de-France, Geelvinck Fortepiano Festival, Cambridge Early Keyboard Festival, Vesper Concert Series in Lubbock, Hong Kong International Chamber Music Festival, Le French May Arts Festival and Hong Kong New Vision Arts Festival, and performed in recital series of the Benton Fletcher Collection, the Cobbe Collection and the Handel House.
